      <image:title>Key Modifications - Puchner 72xx Left Hand</image:title>
<image:caption>The Puchner needed a lot more work as the horn is overall bigger around than my 6K Heckel. This is a photo of the custom made trill key and custom plateau key which angles to the long joint to make the reach easier.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Key Modifications - Puchner 72xx Left Hand Thumb</image:title>
<image:caption>Here you can see my LH thumb keys on the 7xxx Puchner (and my very short thumb). In addition to having the flick keys moved closer together, you can see the low b-flat key was extended down just a bit to give me a little bit better reach on that key as well. You can see just above the d key where the support used to be, it was moved down quite a bit. I could be wrong, but I also think the a flick key was made a tiny bit longer.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Key Modifications - Puchner 72xx Left Hand</image:title>
<image:caption>This box highlights where the major work was done on this horn. That circle you can see above the d key is where the post for the d key was originally. Many of these keys were moved down to bring them closer together so I could reach them.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Key Modifications - Puchner 72xx Right Hand</image:title>
<image:caption>Right hand on the Puchner with modifications. In addition to removing the front b-flat key and moving the G key up, the F/F#/A-flat keys were also moved up, the F key shortened and the front f# key made longer. If you look carefully under the A-flat key you can see where the old support pin was for these keys.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Key Modifications - Puchner 72xx Crutch</image:title>
<image:caption>The right hand of my 7xxx Puchner had the following done: Removal of the front B-flat key, G key moved up to where the B-flat key was. This was done to bring the spacing closer together. F, front f#, and A-flat keys were brought up (supporting post moved as well) so that I can reach these keys with ease. Lastly, in place of a crutch, I had a contra bassoon key guard put on the horn (upside down) to use as a hand rest. I love this and plan to add one to my Heckel as well.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Key Modifications - Heckel 60xx Left Hand</image:title>
<image:caption>The reach from the c and d tone holes is too big for my tiny hands, so adding the standard plateau key to the Heckel makes it easier for me to play. Otherwise I struggle to cover the c tone hole.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Key Modifications - Heckel 60xx</image:title>
<image:caption>Lots of changes to the 6k Heckel right hand: Had the front b-flat key removed and my g key slightly enlarged and bent up to facilitate the reach between my 3rd and 4th fingers. My F key was also cut down and the front f# key lengthened so I can reach it better.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Key Modifications - Heckel 60xx Right Hand</image:title>
<image:caption>View of my hand on the horn. You can't really see it in this photo, but both of my pinkies bend into my 4th fingers, it makes it really hard to reach those pinky keys!</image:caption>
